Laura G. Goulden, PhD
Dr. Goulden earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 1998. She also completed a one year fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Alabama and opened a private practice in Mobile in 1999.
Dr. Goulden has extensive experience assessing various childhood disorders. She is trained in the use of the ADOS 2, the current gold standard of autism diagnosis and she has expertise in helping to differentiate challenging diagnoses.
Dr. Goulden works with a wide variety of people (from children to adults) dealing with everyday stressors to more significant problems with depression and anxiety. She enjoys working individually with older children, adolescents, and adults.
Caron Langan Mastrone, PhD
Dr. Mastrone is a lifelong resident of Mobile. She opened her practice in 1999. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. She earned her master's degree from the University of South Alabama, and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Union University. Dr. Mastrone completed her internship at Vanderbilt University medical Center and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She completed post-doctoral training in developmental pediatric medicine with an emphasis on developmental disorders.
Dr. Mastrone has experience with assessing developmental consequences of premature birth, prenatal exposures to substances/infection, and other types of common developmental concerns related to typical growth.
Dr. Mastrone has extensive experience assessing various childhood disorders including attention difficulties, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders (she is trained in the use of the ADOS 2), learning difficulties, as well as sensory integration/processing difficulties
Dr. Mastrone conducts assessments as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidenced based treatments with adults, adolescents, and children with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment difficulties.

Cancellation Policy:
Our office requires a 24 hour notice for cancellations prior to therapy appointments and 72 hours prior to testing appointments .
Fees for a no-show or same day cancellation are as follows:
Therapy:
1st occurrence: No charge
2nd occurrence: $50 (within the same year)
3rd occurrence: $100 (within the same year)
Testing:
$250 due before we can reschedule your appointment.
